Diesel Fuel Injection Service (DFIS) is your destination diesel parts supplier and repair facility. Built around mechanics and Performance enthusiasts, we took our shop to the next level. In 2005, Adam Ofstad decided to open his first automotive repair shop out of his house with just a 3 bay pole barn. From there, his curiosity only expanded to much bigger ideas. He now runs a large shop with 25 lifts, 35 mechanics, while expanding to 3 other locations called Pro Automotive & Diesel (PAD). Adam has been working with diesel engines his whole life, and we all know, knowledge is key in this industry. Here at Diesel Fuel Injection Service, we know a thing or 2 about diesel engines and are here to help repair your pump, turbo or injectors, or even help you decide what other parts you might need to facilitate the job. With over 100 brands and thousands of parts in stock and on our shelf, we are guaranteed to provide you with the parts you’ll need to fix or even upgrade your diesel.

At DFIS, we rebuild diesel injection pumps, diesel injectors and diesel turbos. As one of the only shops in the nation that’s a multi-certified rebuild facility in Bosch, Delphi, Denso, Yanmar, Caterpillar, Zexel, Stanadyne, Holset, Garrett, Borg Warner, we can pretty much do it all.

Diesel Fuel Injection Service was established over 40 years ago and is one of the leading diesel injection pump rebuild facilities in the country. When Adam and Lily decided to purchase DFIS in January of 2022 to help facilitate their current shop, PAD, they knew the shop would flourish and last through the toughest times. Diesel Fuel Injection Service (DFIS) is the brick and mortar location of Diesel Performance Warehouse located in Portland, Oregon. Wanting to better serve our nation wide customers, we decided to take our business to the next level and open an online presence. Adam Ofstad

Adam is a longtime firefighter/paramedic outside of the Portland Metro area in Clackamas. At a very young age, Adam has been able to understand the ins and outs of vehicles and quickly diagnose issues. He was frequently trying to modify or build something one off from anything he had seen before. He has obtained most of his knowledge from trial and error over the years and has acquired a well rounded variety of knowledge on all brands and vehicle types. From hot rods to class 8 semi trucks, he can pretty much figure out any issue you have.

Adam brought Lily in to help with bookkeeping and finances around the time he started building the new shop they were planning to move to. Lily comes from an automotive background as well particularly in the diesel world. She has now expanded their business to purchasing and running a fuel shop back in January of 2022 called Diesel Fuel Injection Service (DFIS). Together Adam and Lily can help facilitate each business with every opportunity for growth. Each component and each business plays a key part in the success of one another, which is why Adams’ tried and true process has been calculated and executed since the very beginning.
