About PPE Pistons

PPE uses its own cast pistons in Stage 1 and Stage 2 short-block builds at 15:1 to 16.5:1 compression, and forged pistons in Stage 3. PPE does not currently list pistons as a standalone product on its website, so no published specification exists for this part number. The compression ratio of this kit falls inside the range PPE specifies for its own short-block builds.

This is a complete engine set of eight pistons, not a single piston. Mahle PowerPak piston sets for the Duramax are supplied as a set of eight with rings, wrist pins and clips.
